Booking + Waitlist:

Why can’t I book a class?

If you’re having trouble booking a class remember that in order to book you must purchase the credit first whether thats a drop-in, 5 pack, or any other membership. If you continue to have trouble please reach out to the location you are trying to book at.

Waitlist Cancellation

If a class you’d like to take is full, join the waitlist! Our waitlists move frequently, and spots often become available.

If you join a waitlist, please be prepared to attend the class. If your plans change, you’re heading to bed, or you know you’ll no longer be able to make it, simply remove yourself from the waitlist. There is no fee for removing yourself from a waitlist before you’ve been added to the class, and it helps give another client the opportunity to attend.

If a spot opens, you will automatically be added to the class and receive an email or text confirmation based on your notification preferences. You may be added to a class up to 1 hour before the class start time, which means you could even be added to a morning class overnight.

To check your current waitlist status, log in to your account and select My Schedule.

Once you are added from the waitlist, your reservation is treated just like any other class reservation and our standard 8-hour cancellation policy applies. If you cancel within 8 hours of class, you will be charged a $30 late cancellation fee and your class credit will be returned to your account. If you do not cancel and do not attend, you will be charged a $50 no-show fee and lose your class credit.

If you are not added to the class, your session will be returned to your account for class packages and drop-ins.

We definitely encourage joining the waitlist since cancellations happen often! Just remember to remove yourself if you’re no longer able to attend so we can keep things moving smoothly for everyone.

Do I need to reserve a spot in class, or can I just walk in?

We recommend reserving your spot in advance through our app, website, or by calling the front desk. Class attendance is not guaranteed unless you are paid and signed up. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available, but classes can fill up and waitlist quickly.

Do you offer ClassPass?

No, we currently do not offer ClassPass. However, we have a variety of membership options and class packages to suit different schedules and budgets. Feel free to reach out for more information on these options!

Late Cancellation + No-Show Policies:

Late Arrival + Cancellation Info

Late Arrivals:
Any arrival more than 5 minutes past the class start time will not be permitted to enter the class. We take great care to ensure the best experience for all of our clients, and late arrivals can be disruptive to both the instructor and fellow participants. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, your class for the day will unfortunately be forfeited.

Cancellations:
We have an 8-hour cancellation policy. If you can no longer attend a class, please cancel through the Be Kind app or call or speak directly with our front desk.

If you cancel within 8 hours of the class start time, you will automatically be charged a $30 late cancellation fee, but your class credit will be returned to your account.

Emails and text messages are not accepted as a valid form of cancellation. Our booking system uses the exact time of your cancellation to determine whether a late cancellation fee applies.

Private Lesson Cancellations:
In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, the following fees will apply: cancellations within 12 hours will incur a $75 fee; cancellations within 2 hours will incur a $150 fee. No-shows will be charged the full cost of the appointment and the session will be forfeited.

No-Shows:
A no-show occurs when you do not cancel your reservation and do not check into class. No-shows will automatically incur a $50 fee, and your class credit will be forfeited.

Late cancellation and no-show fees are determined automatically by our booking system based on reservation and cancellation timestamps. Our team is unable to manually adjust or waive these fees unless there is a verified system error.

Are there any exceptions to the late cancel/no show policy?

This is a “no exceptions” policy. If you have a true emergency, please cancel yourself out of the class online (if possible) and send us an email letting us know what has occurred. We will do our best to make an occasional exception for emergency circumstances.

Private Sessions + Events:

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, we do! At most locations, our private room is equipped with two reformers, so you can book a personalized session just for you or bring a friend to share the experience. Private lessons are tailored to your goals and provide focused attention from our instructors. Please reach out to your preferred studio for booking.

Can I book the studio space for private events or group classes?

Yes! We offer options for private studio bookings, whether for a group class, team-building event, or special occasion. Check out our events page for details then contact us to discuss availability and custom event packages.

Studio Etiquette + Miscellaneous:

Studio Etiquette + Policies

Be Kind is a cell phone-free studio. We ask that all cell phones and personal belongings, including shoes and bags, be left in a locker before class.

To keep class distraction-free for everyone, no texting, phone calls, filming, or recording are permitted during class, and no shoes are permitted inside the studio rooms.

Want a photo or video while you’re here? Our friendly staff will be more than happy to help you capture one before or after class!

Merchandise, Membership, and Class Refund Policy

All merchandise, classes, and packages are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please read our refund policy for more details.

What should I do if I have an injury or physical limitation?

Please let your instructor know about any injuries or physical limitations before class so they can offer appropriate modifications and support a safe experience.

If you have a current injury, chronic condition, or are recovering from surgery, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before participating in class.

If you’d prefer a more personalized approach, private sessions are a great way to ease back into movement. This allows us to tailor the experience to your body and build confidence before joining a group class. To book a private session, please reach out to your preferred studio location.

Our goal is to create a supportive environment for all levels, but it’s important to listen to your body and move in a way that feels safe and supportive for you.

Can I take multiple classes in a day?

Memberships include one class per day, meaning you have one daily reservation. If you already have a class booked, you will not be able to join a waitlist for another class that same day.

If you don’t have a class reserved yet, you’re welcome to join multiple waitlists for that day to increase your chances of getting into a class.

Do you provide mats for rooftop classes?

We provide complimentary mats and towels for your convenience.

Instructors

At times, there may be changes to our instructors or scheduled classes, and while we always strive to provide notice whenever possible, we want to kindly remind you that such changes can occur without prior notice. Rest assured that we will make every effort to inform you of any changes in advance to ensure the smoothest possible experience for you.

Hot Infrared Reformer Pilates:

What is infrared-heated reformer Pilates?

Infrared-heated reformer Pilates is a Pilates class conducted in a room warmed by infrared heat. This type of heat penetrates the body more deeply than traditional heating, promoting increased circulation, flexibility, and a detoxifying sweat, enhancing the overall Pilates experience.

How does infrared heating affect the body compared to traditional heating?

Infrared heat penetrates more deeply into the body, promoting increased blood circulation, muscle relaxation, and a detoxifying sweat. Unlike traditional heating, it provides warmth directly to the muscles and skin without creating a humid environment.

How hot does the room get during an infrared-heated Pilates class?

The room temperature typically ranges between 95°F and 100°F. Unlike conventional heated rooms, infrared heat warms the body directly rather than heating the surrounding air, creating a comfortable and energizing warmth.

Is infrared-heated reformer Pilates safe for beginners?

Our classes are suitable for all fitness levels. Beginners are encouraged to listen to their bodies and take breaks as needed. Infrared heat is generally well-tolerated, but it’s always a good idea to stay hydrated and take things at your own pace. Before any new exercise, you should consult your healthcare provider.

What should I wear and bring to an infrared-heated reformer class?

Wear moisture-wicking, breathable workout attire to stay comfortable. Feel free to bring a water bottle, though we everything you need such as towels, cold towels, and have a water refill station if needed. Staying hydrated before and after class is essential. We also offer bottled water, electrolytes, and coconut water for purchase.

Are there any health conditions or concerns that might affect participation in infrared-heated Pilates?

Infrared heat is generally safe; however, if you have certain medical conditions like cardiovascular issues, respiratory concerns, or are pregnant, consult your doctor before participating. We encourage all clients to check with their healthcare provider if they have concerns.

How often should I practice infrared-heated reformer Pilates to see results?

For noticeable improvements in strength, flexibility, and overall fitness, attending classes 2-3 times per week is effective. Regular practice will help maximize benefits and maintain progress.

What precautions should I take before trying an infrared-heated reformer Pilates class?

Stay hydrated, avoid heavy meals immediately before class, and listen to your body throughout the session. Take breaks if needed and inform the instructor of any health conditions so they can offer modifications.
